THE DIFFERENCE

What’s the difference between our, all natural, true Italian limestone Venetian Plaster and the synthetic stuff you’ll find in stores?

Engineered synthetic plasters can deliver desirable handling and performance, but fail in the appearance, adaptability, long-term look, and most importantly the benefits. Artificial plaster is like thick paint and usually, dries with little or no depth which makes it difficult to copy the look of natural plasters. These plasters can be made with a variety of material including lime, acrylics, polymers, resins, petroleum products and sometimes cement and chemicals. They are made to “look" like the authentic plasters but do not offer long term beauty and more importantly the healthy benefits of lime plasters.

All Natural & Hypoallergenic!

Compared to synthetic or acrylic plasters, authentic lime plasters inhibit and prevents bacteria growth on the surface, which eliminates the possibility of mold and mildew.  Because we eliminate mold spores, it is hypoallergenic, killing spores to live longer during allergy seasons and leaves healthy breathable walls for your home/office environment.

Longer Lasting & Better Insulation!

Our exclusive Lime plaster will age gracefully, and in most cases, lasts many years longer than painted or synthetic surfaces.  Lime plaster is also an excellent sound barrier and insulator. In The Unfortunate Event Of A Fire..

Lime Plaster will help keep a fire contained. Since it does not burn like painted or synthetic surfaces, it will not allow a fire to spread as quickly within a room. This ability reduces or eliminates more extensive structural damage or destruction (provided the fire is extinguished promptly).
